M-G-M Wish List

Reliable transportation i= n the mission field is critical. The red pick-up truck owned by M-G-M in Hato Mayor will need t= o be retired. The truck has = served M-G-M for over 5 years.

This utility vehicle is u= sed for every aspect of M-G-M’s missions: scouting mission sites in ou= tlying areas, carrying supplies for the mission center, hauling baggage to a= nd from the airport, transport of meals and mission supplies, and of cou= rse transport of missionaries.

After much research and discussion with Arturo, M-G-M’s field director in the DR, we are hoping to replace the old pick-up with a small late model Toyota pick= -up with heavy duty suspension. Toyotas are plentiful in the DR which will make maintenance le= ss expensive. The approximate cost sh= ould be approximately $20,000 - $22,000.
